Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp
The Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp Trek is a well-liked trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Before reaching the Thorong La Pass, which is located at a height of 5,416 meters (17,769 feet), the trek takes you through a variety of landscapes, including subtropical forests and high-altitude desert. It starts in either Besisahar or Chame, two lowland communities. The walk includes a detour to Annapurna Base Camp, which is at the foot of the Annapurna massif, one of the tallest mountain ranges in the world. The path offers stunning vistas of snow-capped peaks like Machhapuchhre (6,993 meters) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters), as well as opportunities to interact with people from different cultures and beliefs.
