Location: Northern part of Solukhumbu, Nepal (Mahalangur Himal sub range of the Himalayas)

Mount Everest lies in the northern part of Solukhumbu, Nepal i.e. Mahalangur Himal sub range of the Himalayas extended between Arun river in the east and Nangpa La Pass in the west. The name was given after surveyor and geographer Sir Gorge Everest. The first safe descent of Everest was by the New Zealander Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, a Nepali Sherpa Climber in 1953. The height of Mount Everest is 8848 m and it's base camp is 5364 m (17599 ft). It is on the border line of Nepal and Tibet with latitude 27°59′17″ on the North and longitude 86°55′31″ on the East. There are mainly two routes to climb Mount Everest, north ridge from Tibet and southeast ridge from Nepal, as southeast route is easier than the north. It is known as Sagarmatha in Nepali, Chomolungma in Tibetan and Everest in English. The number of climbers are increasing yearly for the Expedition.
One of the most famous trek where the journey takes to the closest viewpoint of Mount Everest in Everest Base Camp. It is listed on the most visited trek in the world, the travelers are attracted every year because of its tropical structure and geographical composition.
For the Expedition, Climbers arrive at march in the Everest Base Camp and average time for the Expedition is seven to eight weeks. The Expedition starts from Base Camp with the elevation of 5400 m and first challenging and dangerous part begins with Khumbu Ice fall from Camp 1. Three to four weeks are required to go up and down for the establishment of camps, foods, fuel, oxygen and so on. The days cannot be rushed because of the acclimatization. Sherpa with a group will lead the traveler throughout the journey where heavy carrying materials are carried by themselves and the traveler will carry only their personal backpack with personal gear because of which the traveler can acclimatize their body to the higher altitude every day.
Starting from the march the Expedition will end at May which is the best temperature for the Expedition, it will be warmer than the other month and winds are milder. During the summit, most of the climbers summit at morning so that they can return back to their camp before the fall of daylight. Until today's date, thousands of climber have been successfully attempt the Mount Everest, hundreds have died trying to attempt and hundreds of people have been rescued. The causes of death and rescue are wind, weather and altitude sickness.
