Capital Of Nepal -Kathmandu
The Kathmandu Valley is a special kind of valley with an interesting landscape. It was a huge lake about 25 millennia ago. Green hills walls completely around it, and to the north, huge peaks with snow-capped peaks rise. It is made up of four important cities with rich historical, aesthetic, and cultural significance. They consist of Kirtipur, Patan, Bhadgaon, and Kathmandu.
Ironically, until 1769 A.D., the Kathmandu Valley was an empire that controlled four minor countries. Today, the four kingdoms of Kirtipur, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, and Kantipur all resemble independent, contemporary cities.
The Valley is 218 square miles in size and has a population of about 1.8 million. It is a part of the Shangrila and is located at an altitude of (1300m) and 4,423 feet above sea level. Capital: Kathmandu (Kantipur). Great Hindu and Buddhist temples can be explored.
